  • I am trying to identify this guy I saw today. A fairly large bird with what seemed like long feathers on top of his head. The picture is terrible, because it was too far from me, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen it before

  • All kids get these during the year. But not all get it for academics. Third year in a row. I got choked up a little.

  • It's been probably 10 years since I bought my first orchid. It shriveled and died after blooming. Since then I bough/ was gifted many more. All died. Until this one. I actually do not remember when it bloomed last. But it's been months. I almost forgot about it, and honestly I did not take care of if much. I noticed a few times that it did not dry out yet... The other day I noticed a few buds. And, voila, today we have the first flower. Isn't it beautiful. My second favorite flower. What is my favorite flower?
